Enroll in our first aid course to acquire essential life-saving skills tailored for remote environments. Conducted by instructors from Rocky Mountain Adventure Medicine and utilizing the scenic wilderness of Bragg Creek, the program emphasizes practical techniques for handling backcountry emergencies. Participants will boost their confidence through learning skills ranging from injury assessment and stabilization to improvised rescue methods. Course Overview

Backcountry Emergencies is an 8-hour program that takes a practical approach to managing emergencies in the back country. The course will cover basic theory for managing emergencies and providing first aid, in addition to the opportunity to practice skills through field scenarios.

Participants will receive a course workbook and a certificate that outlines the course content. This course is not a “recognized” first aid course but is a practical application of first aid principles.
